Scandinavian Cup 2010 will be held from Thursday 12. August to Sunday 15. August. Our goal is to create a tournament you'll remember the rest of your lives. Fjellhammer IL continues the work of creating a compact indoor tournament where the halls are within a radius of about 10 km. We aim for quality in every step, from accommodations to finals. Scandinavian Cup is for both boys and girls from age class 12 up to 18 years. The tournament will follow EHFs rules and regulations, but will use customized tournament rules for play. The age classes will not be mixed, divided into groups for each separate year. Base Camp will be Fjellhamarhallen. The hall has three courts and there are possibilities for extracurricular activities in the areas outside the hall. It is a walking distance from Lørenskoghallen, so there are four courts within a distance of 5-6 minutes. Game time: All initial matches will be played in 2x15 minutes. Final matches will be played in 2x20 minutes. In case of a tie in during a final or semi-final, "sudden death", for a maximum of five minutes, will decide the winner. If the score is still tied after five minutes of game time, the matches are decided by throws from the 7 meter line; five for each team, then the elimination method. Where: The tournament is held in Lørenskog kommune, approximately 15 km from Oslo, and 45 km from Oslo airport Gardermoen. The halls which will be used are Lørenskoghallen, Fjellhamarhallen, Skedsmohallen, Skårerhallen and Kjennhallen with alternative halls in our adjacent kommuner. Courts: The matches will be held in different halls, which means that the material of the playing court may vary. All halls are approved for play by the NHF. Finals: We will attempt to give all teams as many matches as possible. Registration will therefore affect the match-setup. The preliminary plan is to have the A- and B-finals in 2010, but if the participation requires it, the arrangers have the possibility of making changes. |
